Ella takes the winning title at Redken Own it Awards

We are so proud to announce another win for the Excentricdreamteam. If you have been with us for a while you would know that we enjoy pushing our boundaries and creativity beyond the normal in salon requests. You would also know that we have been participating at all the major industry competitions and have won a few too. 

So this year Ella entered the Redken Own it awards. She had to create a total look and send her images off to be judged. She was chosen as a finalist to compete with several other salons in Jhb for the winning title. Along with 8 other finalists she also had the opportunity to meet industry icons, Sam Villa and Adam Browne. She then walked away with the winning title of the category and now gets to go to USA next year to learn and be trained in some more advanced techniques that she will be able to bring home to you. We are so proud of this victory as it was only last year that Ella was doing her Hairdressing Apprenticeship in salon and at the end of last year we had an exam which she passed with flying colors, excuse the pun, and was able to go onto the floor as a Junior stylist this year along with Rosadah at our Excentric on Regent branch and both these lovely stylists took winning titles this year. 

We are so proud of Ella for giving her all and achieving this awesome milestone.
